The Loire Valley is an outstanding cultural landscape of great beauty, containing historic towns and villages, great architectural monuments (the châteaux), and cultivated lands formed by many centuries of interaction between their population and the physical environment, primarily the river Loire itself.

The duration can go from one month up to a full 6 months, from October 1st until April 30th each year.

All artistic disciplines are welcome; however, the studio space is only equipped with hot and cold running water, several easels and work tables, chairs, and such. No other materials are provided; yet if any specific type of equipment is needed by an artist, please let us know and we will see what we can do.

Accommodation
The living quarters are in the same building as the work space. There is a 1 bedroom 40 square meter flat on the ground floor that could house 2 people. There is a 2 bedroom flat on the 1st floor that could house up to 5 people. This apartment takes up the entire floor for a surface area of 85 square meters. On the second floor, there is a 35 square meter studio apartment with a magnificent view over the Loire River.

All of these apartments have fully equipped kitchens and the sheets and towels are included in the rental price. There is a washing machine and dryer available in the building.
