Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2024



The next round of the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design has started! The Award is now open for entries, for 2024.

You are invited to take part in this international competition with creative works and integrated brand concepts.

As a winner, you benefit from exclusive use of the Red Dot Label, which communicates news of your design strength in a high-profile manner. Furthermore, your project is presented to a wide audience via our digital channels, in the yearbook and in our museums.

In November 2024, the winners will be celebrated at the Red Dot Gala.

The competition is divided into two sections. In the “Brands” section, companies have the chance to present their brand in its entirety. By contrast, the “Communication Design” section provides a forum where individual works and projects in communication design can be entered in different categories.

The “Communication Design” section is open to works that were published after 1 July 2021 or will be published before 1 July 2024 and that were not already entered in the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design in the past. There are no restrictions for the “Brands” section. Projects realised solely in order to take part in the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design cannot be entered.

The Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2024 competition is open to agencies, designers and companies from all over the globe.

Entry Fees

The entry fees vary depending on the date for registering.

  • Communication Design
    • Early Bird (19 February – 15 March 2024) – 215 Euro
    • Regular (16 March – 17 May 2024) – 330 Euro
    • Latecomer (18 May – 7 June 2024) – 430 Euro
  • Brands
    • Early Bird (19 February – 15 March 2024) – 400 Euro
    • Regular (16 March – 17 May 2024) – 500 Euro
    • Latecomer (18 May – 7 June 2024) – 600 Euro
